Taasi Ya Jamii Social Development is a social business founded as a result of the motivation and initiative of its founders to enhance an inclusive healthy social-economic status of underprivileged communities.
Taasi Ya Jamii comes from a Swahili word “Taasisi” meaning Institute and “Jamii” meaning Community.
TJSD believes that a well-educated, enlightened, healthy and economically empowered population is the center for the inclusive healthy and social-economic transformation in the community.

Mission
Taasi Ya Jamii Social Development will achieve its vision through the provision of education services; promotion of Health/ WASH; and Entrepreneurship opportunities to all the target beneficiaries/communities.
Taasi ya Jamii Social Development works with Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies, Development Partners, and Private businesses.
